There are not a lot of times where wood exceeds the value of gold, only few exceptions like the Nostalgia Wooden Wrist Watch. This intricate time piece is designed by Valerii Danevych and takes 8 months to complete. The watch is made of different kinds of wood with the exception of the metal main spring, metal hair spring and the mother of pearl design accents. It only weighs 17 grams and a full wind will last up to 20 hours with a 3-4 minute accuracy.
